We've been fund raising this summer.
First, Phil Rowland-Smith cycled the 473 kilometres from Crowborough, UK to Loches in France, to celebrate his significant birthday and raise funds for World In Need. To date, he's raised a wonderful £2,635.00 for our work in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. It isn't too late to add to his amount. Now, Hilary Mackelden is losing weight for us. So far she's lost 9 pounds in weight and raised £90 for the Children's Feeding Programme, which gives children in our schools in Kenya and the Democratic Republic of Congo two decent meals each day.
Hilary's aim is to lose 42 pounds by Christmas 2018. Wouldn't it be great to raise £10 for every pound she loses? If you'd like to help her, you can do so at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/hilary-mackelden1
These aren't the only ways in which you can help us raise funds, of course. From sponsored swims to barn dances, quiz nights to coffee mornings, there are as many ways to raise funds as there are people with imagination. Why not organise something of your own. Let us know and we'll publicise it for you.Fundraise For Us
