In a city where many families face poverty, unemployment, and the daily challenges of providing for their children, The Right Path has been bringing hope and practical support to vulnerable children and families since 2006. Led by our Global Family partner Meaza, the programme currently supports around 37 children and their families, helping them access education, healthcare, nutrition, and the encouragement they need to build brighter futures.

Working closely with families, the team takes a holistic approach to care. Children receive support with school fees, learning materials, mentoring, and daily meals, while regular medical check-ups, treatment, clothing, and other essentials help meet their physical needs. The programme also creates opportunities for children to learn, play, and grow together through activities that strengthen confidence, friendships, and community.

Alongside supporting children, The Right Path invests in families through home visits, practical care, and skills training that helps parents, particularly women, develop sustainable sources of income. Faith is at the heart of everything the team does, with Bible teaching, discipleship, prayer, and Gospel outreach bringing spiritual encouragement to families from a variety of backgrounds.

Through Meaza's compassionate leadership, many young people have gone on to complete their education, pursue successful careers, and become positive influences in their communities. The programme continues to bring lasting transformation by helping children and families discover both practical support and the hope found in Jesus Christ.
