We're so grateful for the amazing team we have at WIN.

All our Trustees are unpaid and generously give their time and skills to oversee the charitable governance of WIN. Our UK team comprises of one full time person (CEO) and a mix of paid and volunteer part-time team members.

This whole team working together transforms many thousands of peoples lives a year in 10 countries around the world.

We treasure and give thanks to God for every person on the team...

Our Trustees


Chairman & Treasurer
Ian became a Christian at university and has served in his local church in Tunbridge Wells as an Elder, Trustee and worship leader for many years.

Ian's career has been in international finance.

First involved with WIN in 2018, Ian's passion is to serve as many as possible through Practical Mission.

Married to Anne, with 2 adult daughters, Ian is a big fan of travel, sport, cooking and Southampton FC!


Anne is married to Ian; they have 2 adult daughters and one grandchild. Anne and Ian’s youngest daughter has autism and severe learning disability. Anne, a qualified teacher, was part of the founding group of a school for children with autism in 2003; she has worked there in the role of head teacher since then.

Anne believes strongly that every life is precious, and that there should be greater equality of opportunity for all. Anne became involved with WIN because its heart is to change lives through practical support, education, and sharing God’s love.


Daniel has been a Christian all his life whose faith was strengthened after a horrific accident at the North Pole.

Daniel is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor by profession. He is Chairman of Jackson Rowe, based in Crowborough and Non-Executive Chairman of Concert.

Daniel has been sponsoring children for over 30 years and has a passion for seeing lives transformed through generous and strategic giving.

Daniel is married to Tina, he is a keen 'Petrol Head' and also loves travel, photography, sport and hiking.


Trustee & Secretary
David was ordained as a vicar in 2000 following a career at British Telecom as a senior manager.

David holds a BA in Theology & Ministry, is a Chartered Engineer and is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering & Technology.

Following retirement David volunteered at WIN covering project work before becoming a Trustee.

He is married to Margaret and they have two grown up children, nine grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.


Allan came to faith in his early forties, having been introduced to Jesus by family, friends and the Christianity Explored course.

He has worked as a lawyer for over 25 years, is a partner of an international law firm, and co-chairs the firm’s racial equality programme.

Allan was drawn to WIN by its practical approach to mission and personal touch.

He is married to Charmaine and they have two teenage children and two cats. In his spare time he likes to read, listen to podcasts and has recently taken up gardening.


Katie gave her life to Christ at 18 years old and carries a passion for prayer, worship, and to see Gods kingdom come in the world today.

She worked with YWAM in Amsterdam for 9 years, has done nursing, chaplaincy work, led mission teams to various countries and serves in her local church.

Katie and the family were introduced to WIN many years ago through sponsoring a child.

She is married to Steve and they have two teenage children.

CEO and UK Team


Rob met Jesus in Jan 1995. In this life-transforming meeting, Rob repented and gave his life to Him.

Rob has experience in leadership roles spanning corporate, commercial, charity, community and church environments.

His passion is for telling people about Jesus, and strengthening Christians through the ministry of the Word and the Spirit.

Rob has been married to Jo for nearly 25 years, they have two teenagers, and two cats.


PA to the CEO
Charlotte has been a Christian for around 22 Years and prior to joining WIN worked at Mercedes Benz and Hotel Du Vin as an events coordinator.

She joined WIN in November 2020 as PA to our CEO.

Charlotte has been married for 8 years and has a daughter.

Finance Manager
Sonia has been looking after World in Need’s finances since 2010. Before WIN she worked as a bookkeeper and management accountant for 10 years before taking time out to raise a family.

Sonia loves the pleasure and privilege of being able to assist in the development and encouragement of so many people around the world.

She has been married to Andrew for 26 years with 4 wonderful children.


Church Partnerships Manager
Mark was refurbishing a church when he found Jesus in 2010 and has since worked as a missionary in Albania, Greece, Italy, Wales and Brighton where Mark could frequently be found sharing food, coffee, and the gospel with the homeless.

He joined World In Need in November 2019 as our Church Partnerships Manager.

Mark has six children (3 of each), and seven grandchildren.


Sponsorship Assistant
Anne has known and loved the Lord all her life and after 30 years as a Primary School teacher joined World in Need in 2010.

Her passion is to love and serve others. Anne loves being part of the team that offers deprived children and adults the support to secure their own safety from a life on the streets, gain an education and have hope for the future.

Anne has been married for 40 years with 4 daughters and 3 grandchildren.


Donor Care
volunteer team
Julie became a Christian when she was 16. She loves to sing in her local church music group and lead worship.

Before retiring, Julie was a teaching assistant, so seeing children get a good education is really important to her. This led her to sponsor a child through WIN and then work as a volunteer in the Donor Care Team.

Julie is married to Cliff, and has 3 daughters, and one grandson.


Website Design & Development
David was born again in 1995 and is passionate about revival.

He has worked in many IT development and support roles in the finance industry and the charity sector. In 2017 he felt called to Wales and now runs his own IT company in the beautiful foothills of the Cambrian mountains. He particularly loves using his skills to help not for profits.

David is married to Alison and they have 3 children, one grandson and a dog called Meg.


Data Systems Architect

Cliff became a Christian when he was 17. He enjoys playing bass guitar in his local church and in other progressive folk rock and jazz bands.

His career has been in multimedia and interactive TV engineering, for the BBC, God TV and other media companies. Cliff has also spent time teaching at university and writing books on multimedia topics.

Cliff is married to Julie, and is extraordinarily proud of his 3 grown up daughters, and grandson.


Admin Assistant
Gilly became a Christian in her early 20’s.

Having worked in various office roles she joined the staff at WIN in 2008.

Gilly loves working at WIN, she loves the ethos of WIN and has a genuine desire to make a difference in people’s lives.

She is married to John and they have 5 grownup children and 8 gorgeous grandchildren.
