School Partnerships

Helping schools inspire global citizens and create lasting change across Africa and Asia.

Partnering with Schools to Turn Learning into Lasting Change

World in Need welcomes public, private and international schools from around the world to partner with one of our locally led schools in Africa or Asia. Each partnership is shaped around the interests, curriculum and needs of both school communities.

Through shared learning, cultural exchange and fundraising activities, pupils can build meaningful connections, learn from one another and grow as compassionate, globally aware citizens. Our team provides personal support throughout, helping your school build a lasting relationship and make a practical difference.

ENRICH LEARNING - SCHOOL PARTNERSHIPS THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE

A partnership with World in Need brings global learning to life, helping pupils develop compassion, understand different perspectives and discover how their actions can make a difference.

Together, we can shape a partnership around your school’s curriculum and interests, from fundraising activities to meaningful connections with our Global Family projects. Regular updates help pupils, staff and families see the impact of their support.

We’d love to have an informal conversation about what could work for your school.

Please do contact us for more details about our school partnerships programme.

HELPING STUDENTS BECOME GLOBAL CITIZENS

A partnership with World in Need connects classroom learning with real lives. Through shared experiences, meaningful relationships and practical action, students have opportunities to become:
  • Global citizens - Understand how people, choices and challenges connect across borders, and recognise their role in contributing to a fairer world.
  • Internationally minded - Explore different cultures and perspectives, question assumptions and learn from the knowledge and experiences of others.
  • Compassionate - Recognise our shared humanity, seeing the dignity, strengths, hopes and potential of people whose lives may differ from their own.
  • Grateful and responsible - Appreciate access to education and resources, reflect on inequality and consider how their opportunities can be used responsibly to support others.
  • Empowered to act - Discover that their ideas and collective efforts can make a practical difference, with regular updates showing how their support creates meaningful change.
