What a glorious day it was for a beautiful walk in scenic East Sussex! Thank you to everyone that came along; we made a merry group rambling through Ashdown Forest, and Winnie the Pooh came too!
The sponsored walk was attended by 28 of our supporters and many others have donated to support us through the Just Giving page. We were gratefully led by Peter, who guided us around Ashdown Forest to see the beautiful scenery and highlighted the local history of the area. As you can see from the pictures, the sun came out for the day and the lovely weather made the walk even more enjoyable. Both humans and our furry friends enjoyed the leisurely exercise and we could relax afterwards with refreshments together at the Blue Anchor in nearby Crowborough.
Thank you again to everyone who contributed and has helped to raise the £1,300 so far. All the funds raised will be allocated to our projects around the world, helping those most desperately in need of funding. All the teams in our Global Family and the communities that they work in, are most grateful for each and every contribution that has been made - your donations really do make a huge difference.
