The school hall is currently being used by multiple classes, separated by wooden partitions. As a result it is a very cramped and noisey environment for the children.

Please help us to finish building the extra three classrooms on the first floor and give the children a better learning environment.

Make a difference to the children at Adullam Missions Preparatory School in Sierra Leone.

What and where is the need?

To complete the first floor, three classroom block at Adullam Missions Preparatory School (AMPS) in Wellington District, Freetown, Sierra Leone.

Why is this a pressing need now?

The need is pressing because there is not enough classrooms for the number of children wanting to come to the school. This is preventing the intake of new students and having new forms or streams with in the school.

Why are WIN best placed to tackle this need?

WIN and AMPS have been working together since 2006 and WIN has supported AMPS in similar projects before.

What will be the benefits of your work?

There will be an increased enrollment of new school children from the community.

What is the impact if we don’t do this now?

There is a very real risk of the dilapidation of the current incomplete structure and children in the community will have to commute to other areas across the city to access available schools.

Why should people care about this?

The school is helping to boost the literacy rate of the country and thereby reduces child delinquency and school dropouts. It also gives increases access to accessible education for the children of Freetown, Sierra Leone.

How do you ensure success and accountability?

Proper monitoring and evaluation of the project by the Project Coordinator of Adullum Missions Evangelistic Network (AMEN), the Head Teacher of the School and updates to WIN for accountability.

How much does it cost?

We need to raise £8000 to complete the 3 classrooms.
Please help us to finish the building work for our children
