We last visited the boys in January 2020 and met all the lovely orphans there.

The site is amazing (would be great for a church group to visit to help do DIY) but it's in desperate need of support.

Here's a picture of the boy's home at dawn - it's cold and foggy in January and this was just before the boy's daily run around the grounds.

Off camera is the boy's football and volleyball pitches, an area for growing veg and some chickens and buffalo.

How can you help our orphanage in India?

What and where is the need?

The orphanage children need are looked after by the House Parents and staff need stability to stay long term with our children.

Why is this a pressing need now?

House Parents leave due to not being paid sufficiently and children suffer emotional instability every time this happens.

Why are WIN best placed to tackle this need?

This orphanage is under WIN's care and are part of our Global Family.

What will be the benefits of your work?

Children and staff will live in stable home atmosphere. Children will suffer less abandonment after Houseparent's change and getting acquainted all over again.

What is the impact if we don’t do this now?

Children will suffer from separation anxiety and not relate to Staff or feel stable love.

Why should people care about this?

Children and staff need a long term relationship, have familiar staff, children should not go through tears every time House Parents leave and then struggle bonding with the new ones.

How do you ensure success and accountability?

Bills and invoices are recorded and accounted for yearly accounts to be produced before the ruling bodies of the State and social services.

How much does it cost?

It costs £2,800 per year for a House Parents salary to look after the boys.
