We're so grateful for the amazing team we have at WIN.

Our Trustees generously give their time and skills to oversee the charitable governance of WIN. Our UK team comprises of a mix of paid and volunteer members. Together we work to transform the lives of thousands of people living in 10 countries around the world.

Trustees

Ian

Chair of Trustees & Treasurer

Ian became a Christian at university and has served in his local church in Tunbridge Wells as an Elder, Trustee and worship leader for many years.

Ian's career has been in international finance.

First involved with WIN in 2018, Ian's passion is to serve as many as possible through Practical Mission.

Married to Anne, with 2 adult daughters, Ian is a big fan of travel, sport, cooking and Southampton FC!

Daniel

Deputy Chair of Trustees

Daniel has been a Christian all his life, his faith was strengthened after a horrific accident at the North Pole.

Daniel is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor. He is Chairman of Jackson Rowe, based in Crowborough and Non-Executive Chairman of Concert.

He has been sponsoring children for over 30 years and has a passion for seeing lives transformed through generous and strategic giving. Daniel is married to Tina, he is a keen 'Petrol Head' and loves travel, photography, sport and hiking.

Anne

Trustee

Anne, a qualified teacher, was part of the founding group of a school for children with autism in 2003; working as head teacher since then. Anne is married to Ian; they have two adult daughters and two grandchildren. Their youngest daughter has autism and severe learning disability.

Anne believes every life is precious, and should be given equality of opportunity. Anne joined WIN because its heart is to change lives through practical support, education, and sharing God’s love.

Allan

Trustee & Secretary

Allan came to faith in his early forties, having been introduced to Jesus by family, friends and the Christianity Explored course.

Allan's career has been as a lawyer.

Allan was drawn to WIN by its practical approach to mission and personal touch.

He is married to Charmaine, they have two children and two cats. Allan enjoys reading, listening to podcasts and gardening.

Katie

Trustee

Katie gave her life to Christ at 18 years old and carries a passion for prayer, worship, and to see Gods kingdom come in the world today. She worked with YWAM in Amsterdam for 9 years, has done nursing, chaplaincy work, led mission teams to various countries and serves in her local church.

Katie and the family were introduced to WIN many years ago through sponsoring a child.

She is married to Steve and they have two teenage children.

Operations Team

David

Chief Executive

David leads our WIN team, bringing together his varied experience to serve the vision of Practical Mission.

He has served in local church leadership and carries a heart for international missions. He has also worked many years in the health and social care sector, including time as a nurse and coach.

David enjoys time with his wife Amanda and their four kids, camping trips, playing music, DIY challenges and cycling in the woods.

Sonia

Finance Manager

Sonia has been looking after World in Need’s finances since 2010. Before WIN she worked as a bookkeeper and management accountant for 10 years before taking time out to raise a family.

Sonia loves the pleasure and privilege of being able to assist in the development and encouragement of so many people around the world.

She is married to Andrew and they have four wonderful children.

Bevs

Sponsorship Manager

Bevs loves the LORD and grew up in church, has been a Sunday School teacher, a Song Leader and now co-pastors a church.

An IT graduate and a teacher, she has run local child sponsorship programmes for 10 years. Her heart is to share the Gospel to as many families as possible.

Bevs is married to Domz, with three children, a cat and a dog.

Anne

Sponsorship Assistant

Anne has known and loved the Lord all her life and after 30 years as a Primary School teacher joined World in Need in 2010.

Her passion is to love and serve others. Anne loves being part of the team that offers deprived children and adults the support to secure their own safety from a life on the streets, gain an education and have hope for the future.

Anne has been married for over 40 years and has four daughters with their own growing families.

Charlotte

Office Assistant

Charlotte has been a Christian for over 20 years and prior to joining WIN worked at Mercedes Benz and Hotel Du Vin as an events coordinator.

She has been part of WIN since 2020, and enjoys being on a team that helps make a difference to so many children.

Charlotte is married and has one daughter.
